Haven Health Statements of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. We believe Scripture reveals who God is, mankind’s sinful condition, the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, and God’s plan and purpose for humanity.
  2. We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the deity, virgin birth, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  4. We believe that salvation is “by grace” plus nothing and minus nothing. The conditions to salvation are repentance and faith.
  5. We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
  6. We believe that those who are saved will experience eternal joy and blessing, while those who are lost will face eternal punishment.
  7. We believe that marriage is a covenant instituted by God, joining one man and one woman in a lifelong union. This covenant reflects God’s design for family and forms the foundation of a stable, healthy society. We affirm the importance of faithfulness and mutual respect within marriage.
  8. We believe that God intentionally created each person in His image as male and female, equal in value and dignity. We affirm that sexual intimacy is a gift from God, to be expressed exclusively within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman.
  9. We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Life begins at conception and deserves protection, dignity, and respect at every stage. We are committed to valuing and defending the life of the unborn while extending compassion, care, and support to every individual we serve.

Haven Health Statements of Principle

  1. Haven Health is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ, carried out through His church. Therefore, Haven Health Clinic, through its volunteers, is committed to presenting the gospel of our LORD to women with crisis pregnancies, both in word and in deed. Commensurate with this purpose, those who labor as Haven Health Clinic board members, directors, and volunteers are expected to know Christ as their Savior and LORD.
  2. Haven Health Clinic is committed to providing its clients with accurate and complete information about both prenatal development and abortion.
  3. Haven Health Clinic is committed to integrity in dealing with clients, earning their trust, and providing promised information and services. Haven Health Clinic denounces any form of deception in its corporate advertising or individual conversations with its clients.
  4. Haven Health Clinic is committed to helping women carry their pregnancy to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance. Through the provision of God's people and the community at large, women may face the future with hope and plan constructively for themselves and their babies.
  5. Haven Health Clinic does not discriminate in providing services because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, or marital status of its clients.
  6. Haven Health Clinic does not recommend, provide, or refer for abortion or abortifacients.
  7. Haven Health Clinic offers free assistance to abortion-minded/vulnerable patients.
  8. Haven Health Clinic is committed to creating awareness within the local community of the needs of pregnant women, and of the fact that abortion only compounds human need rather than resolves it.
  9. Haven Health Clinic does not recommend, provide, or refer women for contraceptives.
  10. Haven Health Clinic recognizes the validity of adoption as one alternative to abortion, but it is not biased toward adoption when compared to the other life-saving alternatives. Pregnancy Medical Clinics (PMCs) are independent of adoption agencies and relate to them in the same manner as to other helpful referral sources. PMCs receive no payment of any kind from these agencies, do not enter into contractual relationships with them, and do not share combined office space. Adoption agencies are not established under the auspices of clinics. PMCs neither initiate nor facilitate independent adoptions, though they may refer for independent adoptions in states where it is legal.
